Recently, the progress of information and communication technologies leads to web-based education. However, one of these problems is that it is very difficult to find out proper educational materials over the billions of unclassified and unrelated web materials. Well-designed directory services and classification systems of educational materials in the Internet are indispensable for effective web-based education. In this paper.

We propose novel directory services. We analyzed the elementary components and exploit them to develop effective directory services and classification systems. We also propose a guideline to develop them. We also consider peer-to-peer networking service as searching and exchanging educational material.
